I've been studying and teaching mindful movement since 2015. My mission is to empower others to trust themselves, their bodies, and their stories. I believe that every body tells a story and when we intentionally navigate our inner and outer world, we deepen the connection to ourselves and our communities.

Retiring after 43 years left me with a lot of time on my hands. Normal aches, pains, and stiffness as well as a little self-consciousness made joining a gym unlikely. But a loved one suggested training with Babette. I figured I’d give it a try for a few sessions just to see how it would go. Fast forward six months:
Pains that I’d just assumed I’d have to live with are markedly reduced or gone. I’ve discovered that I have something called a “core” which, when strengthened and utilized, can make a huge difference in my mobility/flexibility. Babette has shown me that even this aging body can indeed still perform. She’s given me the confidence to continue this journey and I would recommend her to anyone likewise looking for pain relief without medication.
